Grant at Helena's Garden

3.25.07 - Meeting Dylan Evans

We went to Brian & Rachel's house to meet Dylan! He is too cute and I will add the photo of me holding him when Rachel sends it to me (Hint, hint!) Rachel and I were able to sit around and talk while the kiddo's (that talk back) played together. Grant finally got up the nerve to pop the question, yep he asked Kayla to Marry him....she told him that she already has a boyfriend and he is six. Grant just looked like he was thinking Darn! Wish I had a photo of all of that!

3.17.07 - Brooks & Dunn

We went to see Brooks & Dunn tonight and it was a really good performance! We had a really nice time watching the Rodeo Finals. It made for a really long night but it was fun. Brooks & Dunn were wonderful! They really know how to put on a great show.

3.14.07 - Rodeo (Clay Walker) It should be Rascal Flatts

Well I woke Grant up and told him that I was sorry but that Rascal Flatts was not going to be at the Rodeo because they were sick (He has been talking about this since we got the tickets) He even told complete strangers that he was going to see them. Well Dad and I took him to see Clay Walker and two other guys (the first was really good). David was out of town so Paw Paw went with us.

3.2.07 - Houston Livestock Show

We took the boys today to enjoy the sights and see the other side of the Rodeo, they really do a good job trying to reach out to children and give them some interesting activities to teach them about.

2.24.07 - Drive Around Texas

Today the weather was crummy in Houston so we got in the car and headed up I-10. We stopped in every small town we could find and enjoyed the scenery. WE really had a lovely day we finished it up with dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe on the River Walk and then headed back to Houston, we did not get back to town till VERY LATE, but we had a very exciting day.

2.27.07 - Rodeo Houston George Strait

We went to the first night of the 75th year of Rodeo Houston. George Strait was FANTASTIC! I had told David last year that I would really like to see him and he remembered and made sure that we had tickets, we took Mom & Dad with us and Mom even had a WONDERFUL time.

2.3.07 - The Peter's Anniversary Party

Judy and Stanley (mom's cousins) had their SUPRISE 40th Wedding Anniversary Party, we had planned on going, but I got sick this week with an upper respiratory infection so we were not able to attend. Mom and Dad had a blast they said that it was a lovely evening. They really enjoyed getting to see everyone and Mom said it was totally worth the trip when Judy looked up and saw her!
