8.16.09 -- Mary & Laura's Visit

Today two of David's coworkers Mary and Laura came over and spent the afternoon with us and we had lunch. It was a difficult day bittersweet I guess, it was wonderful to see them and I knew that this day was coming. They brought me his personal items from his office. We are approaching his 32nd birthday on the 29th of this month (yes, I am a couple of months older than he was). I cannot even to begin to tell everyone what wonderful (and talented) people make up the NASA family and we are so blessed to have experienced and to have been a part of such a wonderful organization.

7.29.09 -- Day 2 Harter Visit

Well today we have a busy day planned we started our where my sweet husband worked at NASA! We visited Rocket Park and the kiddos had a great time. Next we went to Build A Bear and the kiddos all built a bear (except Chelsea she only wanted clothes) then we hit a couple of the stores at the mall for clothes, ate lunch at Chic-fil-a (where else) got a cookie from the Great American Cookie Company (Yummy) and then we all jumped in the car and went to Galveston, TX to the beach. Well I am glad that we only gave the kiddos permission to get their feet wet because we ended up with three kiddos wet to their necks! However we had an excellent day and they all had a blast!

7.28.09 -- The Harters Visit!

Today the Harters (Amanda, Chelsea and Callie) came to visit us! When they came in we hung out for a little while around the house so Amanda could hold the baby and we could all talk then we took the kiddos to the ZOO!!! Her kids have never been to the Houston Zoo and they really seemed to enjoy the Zoo and each others company. They had originally only planned to stay one day but we were having so much fun they decided to stay another day!!! YEAH!!!! Sorry Charlie I stole your family and you will have to feed the animals (at your zoo) one more day!

8.27.09 -- Dr. E

Today we went back to see Dr. E our ENT. We found out that Aubrey's sleep study on the 13th went well and he checked her ears because Cleft Pallet babies have ear problems he checked out her ears and found out that she had an infection in both ears luckily he caught it early. He mentioned that tubes are are big possibility but he is not ready to do them yet and I am going to hold off as long as possible and see if we can avoid them.

Afterwards we took Aubrey for her first professional photos. I have been very hesitant to take her somewhere because I have been trying to avoid exposing her to other children. Here they are...
