9.15.07 - Dinner with The Brown's

Tonight we went to Paul & Debbie Brown's house in Spring Texas. Tony, Carly, Ben & Liam also came over. We had a wonderful meal, were able to catch up with a former friend, boss, mentor and co-worker. They serverd a wonderful baked fish in a lemon, caper butter sauce, gumbo, fresh green beans & rolls. Then we finished up with a shortcake type dessert with fresh blueberries and strawberries. I cannot forget the famous Blue Mountain coffee that they served with dessert. Wow! I am terribly impressed. That is going to be a tough act to follow. Grant had a WONDERFUL time playing with the boys. We promised to schedule a shopping trip in old time spring once the weather cools off. Many thanks for a great evening.

8.7.07 - Week two of High School Football

Well I did not get a photo this week but our team was playing close by so we hit the road to see them this week since we were rained out last week. We won!!! Grant and David had a great time whil mommy melted in the last of the summer heat. It was really fun!

8.3.07 - Labor Day

Well I would like to post that we did something really cool for the hoilday, but instead we cut out plywood hurricane covers for our windows. It is a good thing that we are finally getting around to it now that hurricane season is almost over. Well at leas it is almost done now. We really only have the doors left and we have to leave one door uncovered so we can get in and out!

8.31.07 - Football Game

Tonight marks the start of High School Football in TEXAS! We have season tickets and we were so excited to join in the fun. Grant ha a blast but towards the end of the first quarter the lightning started in the distance and at the beginning of the second quarter the wind shifted so Grant and I left the game and then the rain and fabulous light show started. Needless to say it cut the start of the season short. And there is a month until the next home game! So hopefully the next one will be better.

8.31.07 - Galleria

David and I snuck out today and we went over to the Galleria. We had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and it was very nice (I have gained 10lbs. celebrating David's birthday this year). We walked around the mall for quite awhile and it was very relaxing no having to watch/keep up with Grant.

8.30.07 - Texas Land & Cattle

We went to TL&C tonight to really celebrate his birthday. We went there after stopping by the hospital to visit with his Grandma who fell and totally messed up her right arm. She is moving to a rehab center on Friday so she can try to get movement back properly.

8.29.07 - David's 30th Birthday!

Well David took today and the remainder of the week off. We celebrated his b-day with dinner at Chick-Fil-A before Church. (That was all we had time for before Choir practice). HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

7.16.07 - Tropical Storm Erin

Today tropical storm Erin made landfall south of our area so we were on the "dirty side of the storm" Or area had massive amounts of water they said that in a one hour period we received like 9 1/2 inches of rain. Needless to say the streets were flooded and some of the houses in our community flooded. Dad was home with Grant today and he called to let me know that the water was over the curb so I was really worried that I was not going to be able to leave work until late. Everything worked out and I was able to navigate back streets and make it home.

8.11.07 - Natalie's Birthday Party

We went to Natalies Birthday Party today. It was a Pirates and Pixies party and it was cute and fun as well. Thanks for the invite, we had a great time.

7.7.07 - Grandpa's Wreck

Well going to work tonight Grandpa was in a wreck and luckily he is ok, but his truck is not.

7.28.07 - Ashely and Shaun's Wedding

We went to Ashley and Shaun's wedding tonight. It was really nice, and I got alot of wonderful photos. The food was great and a good time was had by all. Ashley is one of David's triplet cousins. It is hard to believe that she is old enough to get married. I still remember the cute little girls that they were when we first started dating.

7.27.07- Decorating for the wedding

we went up to the Church to help decorate for the wedding and then afterwards we went to the Zoo and the Musuem. We had a wonderful time going to see Rexie!

7.13.07 - UH Children's Theater

We went to see Goldilocks and the Three Bears. It was a WONDERFUL play, I felt that it was the best one that I have seen yet and Grant, Mason and Reid Really Enjoyed it.
