6.29.07 - Last Day of City Pool Swimming Lessons

Today was the last day of swimming lessons at the City Pool. Laura has been taking him and Mason every day for the last two weeks. He went of the diving board and seemed to enjoy it MUCH more than his mother did when she went off for the first time. Afterwards we went to Chuck E. Cheese with Rachel, Kayla and Dylan. We had a great time celebrating the swimming lesson victories, and just hanging out with our friends.

6/16/07 - Ashley's Wedding Shower

It is amazing that one of the triplets is old enough to get MARRIED! Gosh that makes me fell so old they were just little girls when David and I started dating like 12 years ago. Oh, that could be where the problem is has it really been that long. Well anyway, here is a photo of Ashley.

6.15.07 - UH Children's Theater

Today Laura, Mason, Grant & I went to the UH Childern's Theater to see "The Princess who Could not be Heard." It was really cute and the boys had a great time. It is relly amazing how much work they put into these productions.

6.14.07 - Zoobilee

Well, we went to Zoobilee again! We met Brian, Rachel, Danny and Patti at the zoo and the evening started out wonderful, the children all rode the carousel and then we decided to stop under the food court cover to let the storm blow over (it was moving very fast) well it must have been a BIG storm because it kpet on & on by the time it finally let up enough to make it to the car without getting soaking wet it was time for the zoo to close. Then we went to a Wings & More in the getto with Danny & Patti. The food was really good! I believe that they have the best onion rings that I have ever eaten (yes mom, even better than that place in Fairfield on 45(SAMS?))

6.12.07 - Swimming Lessons

We started our second week of swimming lessons. Here are a few photos of Payton and Grant. This will be their third year of lessons together.

6.10.07 - Church Playground

After Church we let Grant play on the new church playground. He had a good time running off some energy. I had tried to get a photo of Grant & Reid together. Not happening they both would not stop for a second to let me take a photo.

6.8.07 - Swimming with our friends

Today we went to the Moore's neighborhood pool and went swimming! We all had a blast playing in the water. I felt sorry for Dylan Evans becuase he was the only one that did not get to swim, but they splashed his legs in the water to cool him off. Grant had so much fun playing with everyone. I will post the photos later!

6.2.07 - First Anniversary of my 29th Birthday

Well we celebrated the first anniversary of my 29th Birthday this weekend. Mom kept Grant while we went out to eat. We just sat there relishing the silence. It was unbelievable. We went to Texas Land and Cattle and had the Surf & Turf...What a great combination!

I will start that swimsuit diet next week, right now I am still celebrating...

5.27.07 - Zoo Trip

We made a trip to the Zoo as a family today. We decided that it would be a good Idea to go on Sunday becuase Monday is free and everyone in the Greater Houston Area decides to attend! We had a wonderful time, the rain held off but the clouds and wind kept the temprature down! I was able to capture some great photos of several animals and the animal that we brought with us (and returned home with).

5.20.07 - Lauren's Birthday Party

We went to Lauren's Birthday Party today. Grant had a blast playing in the water slide and pools that were set up. They were both so glad to see Great Grandma and Grandpa Schaller.

5.19.07 - Annual Evans Family Crawfish Boil (Brian's Birthday & Our Anniversary)

Today we went to the annual Crawfish Boil at the Evans house! We had a great time catching up with our friends but we really missed the Moore family. Thanks to Rachel for the photo (I forgot my camera again!)

5.18.07 - Reef Balls

We made reef balls at the Eco Center today. It was a lot of fun and it was for a good cause. They will take them and place them along the shoreline to prevent wave driven erosion. I guess I did my good deed for the day. Check out that PPE!

5.12.07 -- Emma Halliburton's Party

Today we went to Emma Halliburton's "If you give a pig a party" Birthday Party. It was too cute. We drank perfectly delicious pink punch and there was cake and icecream for all. This was the first time we saw baby Abby and she is too cute.

4.28.07 - Grant's Birthday Party

Today we had Grant's 4th Birthday party. It was wonderful to see many of our friends. We need to do this more often! It was a crazy day with all of the kids, but it looked like everyone was having a good time. Here is a photo of Grant and the sparkler on his cupcake. It was pretty funny because he kept trying to blow out the "candle."

The treasure hunt seemed to be the highlight of all of the day. They all seemed really into it and they were jumping up and down when they found a clue and then they ran to find the next one.

4.20.07 - NRG Battle of the Regions (BBQ Cookoff)

Well this year I joined the CBY cookoff team. I have helped David in the past and I thought what the heck I can be a kitchen hand! Well low and behold we won!!!! Out of all the Texas teams we won! Then we went on to the Regional competition, we had two hours to prepare our second dish and we did a mexican shrimp cocktail with a bacon wrapped grilled shrimp on a skewer. We served it up in a margarita glass dipped in Tony's. It was beautiful! We did not win the second round. (The first place team only won by one point) but we did have a beautiful dish and a wonderful time. It was so exciting! (I will add photos later!)

David made it home from Mississippi and I am so glad that he was not at work yesterday! Many thanks to all of those who called to see how he was doing. Sorry, not many people knew that he was out of town, because I don't post his trips prior to them happening here, so only the people that knew because they had heard directly were aware that he was not at the center yesterday.
