Today we went to NASA on the 1 year and 10 day anniversary of Daivd's death and they held a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new building that David was the Contracting Officer over the Design Work and the Construction of the Building. It was so special that they thought of us, honored his memory and gave his children (at least Grant) such a wonderful memory. Grant got to meet quite a few Astronaunts and they were all such wonderful people. That made my 6 year old little boy's day! We are so blessed to be part of the NASA family they are all such WONDERFUL people.
wow, grant is really growing up! what a special day for your family. you really exhibit courage and grace. i haven't commented in awhile, but keep up with you. you're doing an awesome job, btw. wishing you peace and comfort during this milestone.
ReplyDeleteI can vaguely make out the inscription, but it sounds so nice! That is truly amazing they thought of him during this time. I know Grant was SO excited! YAY!
